Strasbaugh Machines

Strasbaugh manufactures a variety of machines for grinding, lapping, and polishing.

Strasbaugh Polisher Models 6CU, 6DQ and 6DT use similar basic mechanics. The chuck pictures on the left were created to replace the chucks currently on these machines, allowing for the adaptation of the carrier (modifications can be made). It provides a better vacuum and gimbal with less maintenance.
